Exposé
While Exposé is not new to Tiger you may not be familiar with it. Desktop clutter
can be a problem. Managing all those open windows and finding just what you
are looking for can be a challenge. Exposé is a new tool designed to help with
that clutter.
To really play with Exposé you need to have several windows open, from
different applications.
Press F9all the windows shrink to a size that fits them all on the
screen. If you move your cursor over a window, you will see a label
identifying it. To select a window, click it. To return to normal, press F9
again.
Press F10 the windows in the application you are working in will be
displayed. To toggle through other application windows, press Tab. Click
a window to select or press F10 to return to normal.
Press F11 to send all open windows out to the edges of your screen
revealing your desktop. Click a window edge or press F11 again to return
to normal.
Some applications use the F9, F10 and F11 function keys. You can modify these
keyboard shortcuts and setup corners of your screen to trigger Exposé. Go to
System Preferences, Dashboard & Exposé to customize.
