Update Installation Guidelines

IMPORTANT: During the installation process the Apple iPhone will not be able to

make or receive calls, including emergency calls, text, picture, video messages,

browse the web, and/or access your applications.

Wi-Fi Update Installation

Follow these instructions to update the nTelos Wireless settings and add the

Visual Voicemail application using a Wi-Fi connection:

• MakesurethedeviceisconnectedtotheInternetusingaWi-Fihotspot.

• MakesuretheiPhoneisfullychargedorconnectedtoapowersource.

• Tap Settings à General à About. If an update is available, a

prompt will appear.

iTunes/Apple Certiﬁed Cable Installation

Follow these instructions to update the nTelos Wireless settings and add the

Visual Voicemail application using a direct connection with an Apple Certiﬁed cable:

• MakesureyouhaveaworkingInternetconnectiononyourcomputer.

• DownloadandinstallthelatestversionofiTunes.

• ConnecttheAppleiPhonetoyourcomputerandopeniTunes.

• Select the device on the left side of the iTunes window and click Check for Updates. When the nTelos Wireless

settings update is available, iTunes displays a prompt.

• Click“Download and Update” when prompted.

• Whentheupdateiscomplete,thefollowingscreenisdisplayed:

• Restartthedevice.

If you need to know the version of the nTelos Wireless settings your device has, tap Settings à General à About

and look next to “Carrier”.

Congratulations, your Apple iPhone is updated with Visual Voicemail!
