Step 1: Decide what to install

The System 7.5 upgrade package consists of three major components:

m software to upgrade your computer to Macintosh system software

version 7.5

m QuickDraw GX for more powerful printing, typography, and color

publishing capabilities

m PowerTalk electronic mail and collaboration software

The next pages briefly describe the features of each component. After you

install Macintosh system software version 7.5, you may also want to install

QuickDraw GX and PowerTalk.

For more detailed information on new features, see Chapters 5 and 6

of this book.
